This is true in
the life of B.M Sanikop. He was a patriot, Freedom fighter, social
worker and a dynamic person. He participated in India's freedom -
struggle with Gandhiji. He was president of district Congress
committee and was M.L.A of Kittur Constituency and chairman of
village Panchayat for 30 years. He established an institution of
education named
" Janata Shikshan Prasar Samiti " situated in Itagi of Belgaum
District to encourage education in Rural areas. |

Our present
chairman is dynamic, social worker, active and good organizer.
He is ex-president of Halu Uthapadkar Sahakari Sangh Itagi and
chairman of APMC, ex director of sugar factory M.K. Hubli. He
established different societies. He is very interested person to
develop children's of rural area's and taluk. |
